Brian Beverly is a founding partner of the firm with more than thirty years of experience as a registered patent attorney and over forty years in legal practice. He provides strategic intellectual property counsel to clients across a broad range of industries, helping them protect innovation and advance business objectives.
Brian works closely with clients to develop and manage U.S. and international intellectual property portfolios designed to support growth, enhance enterprise value, and align with long-term commercial goals. His practice emphasizes domestic and international patent procurement, as well as the enforcement and defense of patent, trademark, and copyright assets.
He performs patentability and freedom-to-operate analyses and advises clients on infringement risks, licensing strategies, and litigation matters. Through a global network of foreign associates, Brian assists clients in securing and maintaining intellectual property protection worldwide and represents foreign companies seeking protection in the United States.
With a background in industrial engineering, Brian’s practice focuses on mechanical and electro-mechanical technologies. He has secured more than 150 patents covering innovations ranging from port cranes and construction technologies to consumer products, musical instruments, architectural designs, and environmentally sustainable technologies.
