Donald Beeson is a founding partner of the firm and has practiced intellectual property and commercial law for more than fifty years. His work focuses on helping clients protect and leverage their core innovations through patent and trademark prosecution, licensing, and strategic counseling.
With a background in electrical engineering, Don has secured hundreds of patents in a wide range of industries including audio reproduction technologies, architectural lighting, microwave equipment and devices, construction materials, and consumer products. He advises entrepreneurs and established companies to help protect and position their businesses for long-term success.
In addition to patent and trademark prosecution, Don’s practice includes licensing, dispute resolution, and drafting commercial agreements, including domestic and international distribution agreements. He represents clients before the United States Patent and Trademark Office and works closely with a trusted network of foreign associates to secure patent and trademark protection worldwide.
